We've had a wonderful week with our new little guy! We've been loving our time home with our four kiddos, and feel a calm now that we are all home! We've been busy; but it has been a fun busy as we've been learning all about Silas. The older kids are doing well and really it has been an easier adjustment than I anticipated. There have been been lots of "firsts" for Si since he has been home.
My brother has a ton of pictures and video footage to share, but he flew on to San Francisco with all of it. I have what Brian has taken; but not all. So...stay tuned for videos and pictures of our trip once we have everything all together! I've already started a video, but want to see all of the pictures to complete it.
All in all Silas has adjusted really, really well. He is very laid back, even with the bigger kiddos in his grill all the time! ha! He wants me to hold him for naps, and so far we have been sticking with all the"bonding" suggestions given by AGCI. He really already seems to favor Brian and myself!
In the meantime, enjoy our "firsts" with Silas.
Here he is in his bouncer. He need to work on some leg strength and the pediatrician thought this would be great! He likes it!
First wrestling match with big sissy
Working on sitting up.
Now you see it...now you don't. This cookie was gone a little too fast....oops.
Love him!!!
Post bloodwork. The poor guy had so much blood taken. He was tired, threw up, and just wasn't him self for a whole day. UUURRRRGGGGHHHH!
First foods! He eats a ton...I mean a ton. He eats 7 oz every three hours, rice, puffs, and you name it in between. He is going to be a big guy! We've had several nursery water and enfamil runs this week.
Silas loves to roll around. We have to get him from under the tree sometimes! He loves the lights and ornaments. I keep wondering what he thinks about having a tree in the house.
Go Bears! His first Bears game home ensemble. (Too bad he peed through it during this picture. HA!)
Brotherly Love
Picking out our tree. Too bad we didn't realize it was so massive! Too funny!
Mommy doesn't like to put him down! He we are at the tree farm.
This is what happened during his first stroller ride.
Big Sissy in her traditional outfit.
Big Brother in his traditional outfit. He added the headband for a little flair.
Too cute!

He is just so precious. I love the sitting up picture the most because of those darling Ethiopian baby feet. I'm a sucker for ET baby feet! They are just so cute!
