For those of you wondering what our timeline is looking like now, here you go.... Our adoption basically has two big "paperwork" steps; the local homestudy and the Dossier, our international portion. Both steps require classes and paperwork. We are finished with our end of the homestudy steps, but just waiting for several approvals that need to be made. Our Dossier is pretty much finished as well. We are just waiting on Immigration Services to fingerprint us and give us the okay! Waiting on approvals is where we are right now. Our guess is that this will take about 2 months from now. (The estimated time is 3-6 months...so we are doing good.)
Once our homestudy approvals are done, we will add that to our Dossier packet of papers and send it to our agency for approvals...which again will require a wait time. (My guess is about a month, unless there is something that needs to be redone.)
When our Dossier is ready to go, we will be put on the waitlist...probably in mid-June. Most people are waiting about 4-6 months for a referral and traveling in about 1-2 months after that. This puts us at a referral guess between October and December and traveling to get "S"anywhere from November to February of next year, depending on all of the approvals and when we get a referral.
Okay...enough guessing on my part. I just wanted to fill you in! Remember...these are pure guesses on my part.

We traveled in Feb. for our last adoption. It was pretty much the perfect time. We sort of started our 2nd adoption at this point hoping to travel around the same time next year! We'll see.
